Grace and peace to you and yours.
Even though there are a lot of things going wrong in the world now, we believers have received unchanging good news. "...while evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it." (2 Timothy 3:13-15, NIV)
The Bible doesn't tell us the unsaved world will get better. In fact, it tells us the opposite. Though you and I live in this world, we are actually in another Kingdom that is not of this world. (John 18:36) (Only those born again can "see… enter the Kingdom." John 3:3-5)
Our featured series this time is "Seeking the Kingdom." (Click the Featured Series box on our website.) Jesus, and the apostles after Him, taught extensively about the Kingdom of God and of Heaven, also called "the Eternal Kingdom that will never end." (Luke 1:33) The Gospel is actually called "the Gospel of the Kingdom." (Matthew 24:14; Mark 1:14-15; Luke 8:1) We need to know why.
God's Kingdom operates differently and independently from all the kingdoms of this world. Instead of seeking after money and things, when we seek God's Kingdom, He adds all those things to us. (Matthew 6:33; Luke 12:31,32) Our source is not the fluctuating economies of this world's kingdoms. Instead, all of our needs are met according to His riches in glory! This means we can be well provided for--even increasing--no matter what's happening around us. And even though there's more and more sorrow and pain in this world, the Kingdom of God is always "...righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit." (Romans 14:17) Hallelujah!
Phyllis and I and all of our staff are believing with you for abundant harvests from every good seed you've sown here. We received a Word during the Greater Faith Conference a few months ago that "...great things..."" would happen for us, "...in this year!" We're already seeing it. This belongs to you. Embrace it and expect it. You won't be disappointed.
